On the weekend of March 16th, 2025, Kylee and Maverick earned their Upland Hunter Title! This devilish duo is the youngest team to ever accomplish this within the PVHRC Club. The Upland Hunter Title was accomplished by passing 4 tests in a single weekend. We are so incredibly proud of their teamwork. CONGRATULATIONS to both Kylee and Maverick!

Congratulations to Kylee and Maverick!

We are thrilled to see the combination of Maverick and Tania’s Riley once more, as they are sure to bring some beautiful, amazing puppies! Tania’s Riley is a smaller, gorgeous golden, which, combined with our Maverick, brings great excitement! We would really expect these puppies to make great family companions, hunters, or even help well in therapy work! Be sure to check out the parents’ pages at the underlined names above, or at the ‘Our Dogs’ page!

We are really happy to be able to work with Tania and her beautiful Riley again on a third litter of puppies! Tania is a very close and trusted family friend, and it is great to be able to provide a sire of ours to help create even more sure-to-be-adorable puppies! We do want to note that these puppies are not Hunters Goldstrike puppies, but with our working closely with Tania on her litter, they will be treated very similarly. We will be posting weekly photo updates on our website, and you can always ask us or Tania questions regarding the litter. We are really happy to be able to help find the best homes for Tania’s Riley’s puppies, so if you are interested and if there is availability, please fill out our Puppy Application form!

The contract and puppy guarantee will be provided by Tania, and the puppies will be raised at Tania’s house, but they will be going home from our place in Windsor, Colorado. While they are not Hunters Goldstrike puppies, our male is siring the litter, and we will receive some compensation for our work in helping Tania. Tania is experienced in breeding and raising puppies, as she has done so before and her mother was a golden retriever breeder. The puppies will be vaccinated and have a vet check through Tania’s regular licensed veterinarian, and they will go home with this paperwork, as well as the same puppy booklet we at Hunters Goldstrike provide. They will also have a collar, microchip, puppy toy, and a small bag of puppy food to take home with them!

Who We Are

Two Golden Retrievers sitting on green grass near a body of water.

Hunter's Goldstrike Golden Retrievers is a small family-oriented licensed breeder of Golden Retrievers located in beautiful, colorful Colorado, about 50 miles north of Denver. Our dogs live with us on a five-acre ranch. A canal runs through it, and they enjoy running and swimming for plenty of exercise. They also enjoy getting in our truck and going to a nearby pond or river for a few marks on water or land as part of their training process. They have proved to be very eager retrievers and excel in the hunting field. They make great hunters and are excellent companions and family pets!

Our professional breeding program of golden retriever puppies consists of over 35 years of intensive work to provide top-quality puppies. They are bred for temperament and standards of the breed, and we strive for top quality and beautiful puppies! Our golden retriever pups are guaranteed for two years for eyes, hips, elbows, and hearts with a written guarantee! All our breeding dogs are cleared before we breed them. We also provide support to our puppy buyers and general advice! Raising a golden retriever pup is a big responsibility and commitment, but a wonderful experience!

When our girls were small, we got our first golden. He soon became an integral part of our family! Our first golden, Roman, was a grandson of AFC Holway Barty. He was an excellent hunter, and we didn't really have to train him. He had a lot of natural ability and was a great companion, a great hunter, obedient, and all-around a fantastic dog.

After owning this golden retriever, we were hooked on these dogs for life. We have since had several and have found the breed exceptional. Since 1990, when we bred our first litter, we have learned as much as possible about breeding and training them. Hunter's Goldstrike Golden Retrievers strives for good breeding practices, clearances, appearances, and temperament.

Currently, we belong to the Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA), which is affiliated with the American Kennel Club (AKC).

We also belong to the Platte Valley Hunting Retriever Club and have served on the board for many years in various offices.

On June 2, 2012, Striker accomplished 1500 points and will now be in the 1500 Point Club with HRC. This is a huge accomplishment for him. We plan to do some Striker pups in the future, as we have some frozen semen on him.
