Ivee

Ivee (Ivy) has the most beautiful golden eyes. They are a copper color. As you can see from her pictures, they just shine like honey glistening in the sun! She is a bigger-built female with a beautiful dark red coat. In reality, she is not much larger than the other goldens, but she may look a little bit bigger in her pictures, as they were taken during part of her most recent pregnancy.

When Ivee had her first litter, we were able to instantly recognize Ivee’s strengths as a mom. She was a little bit of a larger dog who had a very big litter, but still always managed to carefully maneuver around her babies to ensure they would not be stepped or laid on. It was awesome to see the gentle momma be so elegant while caring for so many puppies!

Ivee loves her chew toys, which she prefers over toys she can fetch. It is quite funny to see how independent Ivee can be when it comes to hanging out. She is a dog that does really great being left alone sometimes, but of course, she still requires her pets, snuggles, and love.

Something that I find quite cool about Ivee is her purposeful movements and care. She is so gentle and conscious of her actions towards others. It’s almost as if she has really good empathy and is respectful of your boundaries!

Ivee thoroughly enjoys running in the field by herself, but especially when she is joined by a friend. She is extremely friendly and can probably get along with anyone! She loves to play with both people and our other dogs. When it comes to playtime, her best friend is Bettee.
