SHR UH M&M’s Magnificent Maverick of Goldstrike

Maverick is one of our new up-and-coming males. He came from a kennel in Gillette, Wyoming. Maverick has already proven himself to be a field-line dog, earning the Started (SHR) title and Upland Hunter (UH) title. He truly loves the retrieving game, and I'm sure he will earn more titles in the future. We would like to see him earn the HR (Hunting Retriever) title.
He loves the water and loves to play in it. In fact, when we wash the outdoor kennels, he is right there trying to get into the water. He also really loves swimming and retrieving the birds.
He bursts with personality. He loves to play retrieve by himself. He will take his toy to the top of the stairs and then try to run down and catch it! He also brings us prizes from the kids who live upstairs. He just can't help himself.
He loves to play with Amos and Stetson. Every morning, he comes down, and the three of them play, roll around on the rug, and play tug-of-war.
He is genetically cleared of everything. We have done prelims on his hips and elbows, and will do the finals when he is 2 years old. He has also cleared on his eyes and heart. We currently breed him, and he has sired some extremely nice puppies. He has the best temperament and personality. We just love him. He is perfect!
Maverick never stops showing his love and appreciation for people! When permission is granted, he is delighted to jump up on the couch and snuggle with the grandkids. He is so full of pure joy, love, and sweetness. He is kind when being playful and shows amazing care and interest in other animals! He certainly is one of a kind!
On April 28, 2024, Maverick earned his Started Hunting Retriever Title, and our granddaughter, Kylee, was his handler. Congratulations, Maverick and Kylee!
On the weekend of March 16, 2025, Maverick earned his Upland Hunter Title alongside Kylee, a remarkably impressive young handler! Congratulations again, Maverick and Kylee!

On the weekend of March 16, 2025, Maverick earned his Upland Hunter Title with Kylee as his handler! It was an enormously impressive accomplishment, especially as Maverick was only an SHR!

On the weekend of March 16th, 2025, Kylee and Maverick earned their Upland Hunter Title! This devilish duo is the youngest team to every accomplish this within the PVHRC Club. This was accomplished by passing 4 tests in a single weekend. We are so incredibly proud of their teamwork. CONGRATULATIONS to both Kylee and Maverick!
