What can I say about Stetson? He is quite the dog. He has a wonderful nose! He really loves to retrieve like nothing else! Additionally, he really enjoys swimming and realized he loved the water as soon as he started swimming. He is a fantastic dog with tons of personality. He can ‘talk’ to you and let you know when he needs to go out or to be petted. He likes to smile, although some people think it looks like a snarl, but believe me, he is smiling. I couldn't ask for a better dog!
He is out of our Lucy and Titan, who is a GRHRCH (Grand Hunting Retriever Champion) from Georgia. Lucy is a Grandpup of our Striker who had over 1500 points in his day with HRCH and UKC and still holds the number #3 spot for the highest points in the points club. It is the best pedigree that I currently have, and I will use Stetson on many litters going forward.
He loves being in the house and likes to play with Amos and Maverick. He keeps Amos young and Maverick out of trouble, haha! Stetson absolutely cherishes the time you spend petting him. If you quit for even a moment, he will surely let you know it’s time for more! He is super sweet and is one of the most excellent lap dogs we have ever seen.
Stetson is an outstanding listener, and he has a good start on titles (with many more to surely come!) that speak for themself. His pups will definitely go on to make phenomenal dogs in whichever direction you want to go! He received his first started pass on April 11, 2021. We hope to keep going with him and achieve some titles with him. We got a late start because of COVID, so he didn't get to run any tests in 2020. We have several tests this year that we are planning on running him in.

On the weekend of March 16th, 2025, David and Stetson earned their Upland Hunter Title! These two are a fantastic team that has already accomplished so much! We are always more and more impressed by the amazing work our dogs do! CONGRATULATIONS to both David and Stetson!
