Daisee
Laisee Daisee of Goldstrike
Born March 10, 2021
Daisee is Amos’ daughter that we got by him siring a litter for Tiffany at T3 Retrievers in Wyoming. Sadie Rose is her dam. As you can see, she loves the water. It’s almost as if she says, “It feels so good, and I don’t want to get out! It is so hot, and this is cooling me off!” She has a medium to dark coat and a nice build to her. She looks a lot like Amos in the face. If she appears thinner in some photos, it is because they were taken after a recent litter she had.
She enjoys playing and running (unlike her name, as she is far from laisee) out in the open area where the pond is. You can also see she has good energy for playing, hiking, and retrieving things. I plan to continue breeding her to Stetson or Doc in the future. She has produced some gorgeous puppies so far, including our own Olive!
Daisee is such a loving canine. Her favorite thing is to be close to people. You cannot get around her without petting her, as she will put her head right in front of you to pet! I would describe her as very people-oriented. She fully trusts everyone who cares for her so much that she will gladly show off her babies or leave them with people while still being protective. She also cares so deeply for her puppies, as she works so hard to take care of them.
She has a fantastic appetite that I am sure comes from her terrific energy! This dog is just a perfect companion who would do great in any outdoor activity you could take her along with! She is quite good at staying alongside or near the person taking her for a walk, swim, or run, which is very helpful.
A cute trait Daisee has makes me think she holds the belief that she can directly communicate with people. Sometimes, Daisee tries to “talk” to people with a noise that could only really be described as a mellow whistle/hum/sigh. It is so sweet and sincere, which is funny and awesome to hear during the times she tries to communicate.
When it comes to things she enjoys, belly rubs and treats are certainly near the top of the list. I have rarely seen other dogs be as excited for a treat as Daisee always is! It’s wonderful when you see a dog having a great driving force like this. Additionally, her photos showcase how her tongue is usually sticking out of her mouth, which is hilarious and adorable!
