Congrats to Striker for being in the top Ten Historical Top Producing Sires with the United Kennel Club for the 8 year in a row.  That's shows Excellent bloodlines and lots of desire in his offspring.  For Striker to place 14 years in a row in the top ten Sires is pretty awesome!  This is posted each year in the Hunting Retriever Club Magazine. 2016 Striker has passed away but this year he is ranked #6 for the all time Historical producing sire.

Stiker passed away on April 24, 2016 and we miss him very much!  We do have frozen semen on him and plan some future litters with it.

Striker is now 13 1/2 years old and still going pretty strong even though we have retired him from hunt tests. We have also retired him from natural breedings with our females.  However look for future litters sired by him as we have frozen semen that will be using to produce more Striker pups. 

He is such a character! He, like Hunter his sire has been easy to train, and he has tons of drive in the field! His dam is Gabby who came to us from Sungold Kennels! Striker is known for his "talking back" all across the United States! Just one of his characteristic traits that we love about him!

He has the broad head look, which adds to his handsome looks and weighs about 80 pounds and stands 23 inches tall. He is the true golden color and built very stout and athletic!

Striker has proved himself in the field, by seven months of age he had three started passes towards the SHR title. On August 17, 2003 at eleven months of age, he passed the Started level and received the SHR title. Striker received his HR title on August 14, 2004 at the Platte Valley Fall Hunt Test. Striker also received his UH (Upland) title on March 13, 2005 at the Central Rockies Upland Hunt Test! On June 19, 2005 Striker received his Hunting Retriever Champion (HRCH) title at Panhandle HRC hunt test in Bridgeport, Nebraska. In Striker's impressive run of titles, he only misfired in two tests on the way to three titles in ten months, receiving his HR, UH, and HRCH titles.

August 13, 2006 Striker earned his 500 points and is now inducted into the 500 point club with HRC. Striker reached the 1000 points on May 16, 2009. We are very proud of Striker for accomplishing this. On June 2, 2012 Striker accomplished the 1500 points! We made it! Congratulations to David and Striker - they make a great team! He is the third golden retriever to get this honor.
