The Dog Retiring Process

Whenever one of our dogs is ready to exit our breeding program, there are two possible outcomes. Preferably, we are able to keep the doggy with us at our residence, where they live out a life of luxury in one of our homes! If, for spatial reasons, that is not possible, we will find a new, loving home for our soon-to-be-retired male or female golden. This is essentially the same process that is used to find homes for our puppies. However, the only cost we require from you is the amount to cover the spaying/neutering surgery (normally about $500).

Sometimes, people would really like to experience the love that golden retriever dogs have to share with the world, but for one reason or another, they want to or need to skip the puppy stages of development. We love each and every one of our dogs so much, and we are so thankful that they all always get to live wonderful lives with wonderful people!

The only cost we require from you is the amount to cover the spaying/neutering surgery (normally about $500). We give you the option to spay/neuter the retired dog or reimburse us. Documents proving the dog has been spay/neutered must be provided in order to get the paperwork and microchip in your name.

We retire our females around 6/7 years old this will give you another 5+ years of enjoyed the love and companionship of these dogs while avoiding the puppy stage!

If you would like to schedule a visit, we would love for you to come meet your future best friend. That way, we can make sure she/he is a good fit for you and your home.
